RÉSUMÉ
Introduction : L’atrésie pulmonaire à septum ouvert (APSO) est une malformation cardiaque, conotroncale, rare représentant 2% des cardiopathies. Non traitée elle peut comme toute cardiopathie congénitale cyanogène se compliquer d’abcès cérébral. Nous rapportons l’observation d’une adulte de 27 ans, présentant une APSO compliquée de multiples abcès cérébraux sur situs inversus incomplet. Le diagnostic de l’abcès cérébral a été évoqué devant une cardiopathe présentant une hémiparésie gauche dans un contexte fébrile et confirmé au scanner cérébral. Le drainage de l’abcès a été fait avec succès. L’évolution à court terme était favorable marquée par une apyrexie et une amélioration de la motricité.

ABSTRACT

Introduction: Pulmonary atresia with ventricular septal defect is a rare cardiac conotruncal malformation accounting for 2% of heart disease. Untreated, it can, like any cyanogetic congenital heart disease, be complicated by cerebral abscess. We report the case of 27-year-old adult with pulmonary atresia with ventricular septal defect complicated by multiple cerebral abscesses on incomplete situs inversus. The diagnosis of cerebral abscess was evoked by a cardiopath presenting with left hemiparesis in a febril context and confirmed by cerebral CT scan. The abscess was successfully drained. Short-term evolution was favorable, with apyrexia and improved motor skills.
